Pickering Electronics Ltd. designs and manufactures reed relays which we sell around the world. These go into high quality test equipment of many types. Our relays switch from microvolts to kilovolts, and from DC to 10Ghz.
Pickering is a family owned company, started in 1968 and has steadily grown over the years.
We are seeking an Engineer of graduate level. Someone with an innovative flair and a good all round knowledge of electronics who has also had practical experience. A reasonable knowledge of computers is also expected.
This is a hands on job, not seated behind a desk all day.
Have a look at our website, and you will see the range of products we design and produce. We do not expect applicants to have prior knowledge of reed relays, these are a niche product.
In selling our products, we have to firstly interest sophisticated electronics design engineers, hence the need for a good all round knowledge of electronics. We exhibit regularly at trade shows around Europe and the United States etc. The successful candidate will also become involved with these.
Salary level will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
