DUAL-IN-LINE (DIL/DIP) SERIES 97 - 98

Pickering’s dual-in-line (DIP/DIL) reed relays are through-hole electronic components that enclose two parallel rows of connection pins on the standard DIL spacing with switching capability up to 2 Amps, 50 Watts. The reed relays come with 5, 12 or 24 V coils with or without internal diode. Many standard build options are available on request, or we can fully customise the parts to suit your exact specifications.

It is often possible to replace TTL ICs with their equivalent CMOS ones and replace standard DIL relays with Pickering Series 98, to obtain the benefits of CMOS without any circuit or PCB redesign.

Series 97

The Pickering Series 97 reed relays with pins in the popular Dual-in-Line format. Dry and mercury wetted switches are available with the same pin configuration and footprint. 

1 Form A, 1 Form B, 2 Form A, 1 Form C configurations. 5, 12 or 24 V coils. If higher coil resistance levels are required, please look at our Series 98 DIL relays which may be driven directly from 74HC or 74HCT CMOS logic.

The Pickering Series 98 is a range of Dual-In-Line relays, electrically equivalent to the Series 101 CMOS drive, Single-In- Line types, but pin compatible with standard DIL relays. 1 Form A, 1 Form B, 2 Form A & 1 Form C configurations. 

5, 12 and 24v coils are standard, with or without internal diode. The range features very high coil resistances, the 5 volt dry devices may be driven directly from 74HC or 74HCT logic without the need for additional drivers.
