High Voltage SIL / SIP Reed Relays - For up to 4 kilovolts
Pickering’s new and improved Series 104 high voltage isolation reed relays. These relays can now stand-off up to 4kV, switching at up to 25W. There is also an option for an electrostatic shield between the switch and the coil to help minimise noise between the coil drive and high voltage circuits.
Series 104 reed relays are suitable for many applications including mixed signal semiconductor testers, high-end cable testers, backplane testers, medical electronics, electric vehicles, solar energy and high voltage instrumentation.
- Highest quality instrumentation grade reed switches
- 5, 12 and 24 Volt coils are standard, with or without internal diode
- Small size HV isolation reed relay for up to 4000 V stand-off
- Form A (energize to make) or Form B (energize to break) configurations
- One or two reed switches in a single package
- Suitable for mixed signal testing, transformer or cable testing
- Dry and mercury wetted reed switches available
- 100% tested for dynamic contact resistance
- Many benefits compared to industry standard relays. Learn more here >.
The Series 104 is a range of Single-In-Line reed relays intended for voltages that are beyond the capabilities of conventional SIL reed relays.
They are suitable for many high voltage applications such as transformer or cable testing, mixed signal testing, electric vehicles, solar energy, medical equipment, mining and mass spectrometry or any other automatic test equipment where high voltages are involved.
Where mains voltages are switched, for example to control and isolate S.C.R. or triac gates, these reed relays are an ideal choice.
One or two Form A (energize to make) or one Form B (energize to break) configurations are available.
The range features an internal mu-metal screen to eliminate problems that would otherwise be experienced due to magnetic interaction when they are closely stacked.
Four types of dry switches are available, capable of standing-off 1, 1.5, 3 or 4kV d.c. The 3kV version has an increased clearance between the switch and coil pins to accommodate the higher voltage. The 4kV’s higher standoff can improve performance or allow increase in the equipment specification.
Mercury wetted devices are also available for applications where bounce free switching is required. These are rated at 1500 volts d.c. minimum stand-off, 500 volts d.c. switching at up to 50 watts.
- Free Sample Service - determining which components to design in can be challenging. Fortunately, here at Pickering Electronics, we provide free working samples to help you evaluate our high-quality Reed Relays.
- Reed Relay Selector Tool - this tool will help you narrow down our large offering to get you the correct reed relay for your application. Once you narrow your selections down you can download a relay datasheet for more information, purchase in stock items or request a quote to find out lead times of made to order (MTO) relays.
- Concise Tech Guide - this guide will help you to maximise the reliability of your design.
- Quality Assurance - learn more about the various accreditations and certifications that Pickering holds.
- Custom Designed Reed Relays - With over a thousand catalog parts there is plenty of choice when choosing the right Reed Relay for your product, but if you cannot find one suitable for your needs Pickering can customize our standard reed relay parts to suit your specific requirements and applications.
The below table will help you narrow down our offering to get you the correct reed relay for your application.
