The Series 600 high voltage reed relay range is built for flexibility, with a modular construction that allows customization of key elements such as switching voltage, contact configuration, mounting style, and encapsulation. Designed to meet the increasing demand for ultra-reliable, bespoke, high voltage switching, this range offers up to 12.5kV switching and 20kV standoff, with 25kV standoff switch-to-coil — the highest specifications available in the industry.
Series 600 relays are available in 1 Form A, 1 Form B, and 1 Form C configurations, with 5V, 12V, or 24V coils and optional internal diode or diode + Zener protection for coil back EMF clamping. Despite their capability, they are still compact enough for board- or chassis-mounted applications where space efficiency is essential.
Pickering’s formerless coil technology and SoftCenter™ construction provide excellent shock resistance and long operational life, while internal mu-metal magnetic screening minimizes interaction when multiple relays are used in close proximity. An optional electrostatic shield is available for added signal isolation.
All relays are 100% tested, including insulation resistance up to 10¹³Ω, and dynamic contact resistance, ensuring consistent, instrumentation-grade performance.
Ideal for use in hipot testing, high voltage instrumentation, EV and renewable energy systems, and ATE switching, the Series 600 bridges the gap between standard high voltage relays and fully custom designs — with all the flexibility and performance engineers need.
All our data sheets have been recently updated to include additional environmental specifications, mechanical characteristics and relay weights, RF plots for coaxial relays (showing VSWR, isolation and insertion loss), interactive links to further useful information, comparison tables to similar relay ranges and much more.
